I am going to start by saying "well done" to Joaquin Phoenix for an amazing performance. He was absolutely believable. You can and can't relate to what is going on in his mind. It is twisted in the Joker sense.
Now, I found the movie dragged in areas and found my mind wandering or slightly dozing off. I could have easily watched this in 2 sittings. My issue with this movie is that it is a really dark(subject) movie and by the time it ended, I felt really down and spent. It was almost like it was work to watch. It has absolutely no replay-ability for me. A movie really needs to draw me in to watch over and over again, usually in to the double digits. That movie is a 9. I don't want to watch this again and that is why it gets a 3.5 and that is all Joaquin Phoenix.
Will I watch the next Joker movie? Absolutely.
